Description
The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is a critical component of our nationwide response to the ongoing suicide and mental health crisis. The FCC proposed a new rule to strengthen this response, requiring georouting solutions for calls to the 988 Lifeline. Together with representatives from the FCC, SAMHSA and Compass Health Network, we will discuss the difference between georouting and geolocation, what the proposed rule means for 988 Lifeline operations and the potential implications for 988 call centers.
