Description
In 2022, the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) received a Comprehensive Suicide Prevention (CSP) grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to help reduce older adult and veteran suicide mortality and morbidity in rural communities. Through the five-year grant, these communities are being provided with targeted suicide prevention interventions. We’ll explore three of these interventions in a new webinar from the National Council’s Older Adults Interest Group. Specifically: Join us for this powerful discussion about supporting older adult and veteran communities, featuring several members of the CPA program team! You’ll hear lessons learned and leave with new insight into evidence-based strategies for suicide prevention.
