National Council for Mental Wellbeing
Founded in 1969, the National Council for Mental Wellbeing is a membership organization that drives policy and social change on behalf of over 3,200 mental health and substance use treatment organizations and the more than 10 million children, adults and families they serve. We advocate for policies to ensure equitable access to high-quality services. We build the capacity of mental health and substance use treatment organizations. And we promote greater understanding of mental wellbeing as a core component of comprehensive health and health care.
California Alliance of Child and Family Services (CACFS)
The California Alliance of Child and Family Services is the collective voice for nonprofit organizations that serve children, youth, and families. Our 160 member organizations are providing behavioral health, foster care, juvenile justice, education, and prevention services throughout California. Through our policy, advocacy and membership services, our members have gained critical and time sensitive information, participated in advocacy to ensure stability of their organizations and received timely information regarding state and federal funding opportunities. The Alliance exists to advocate for an aggressive legislative and regulatory agenda on behalf of children and families in California.
California Council of Community Behavioral Health Agencies (CBHA)
CBHA is a statewide association of 95 mental health and substance use disorder non-profit community agencies and businesses that provide behavioral health services to over 1 million clients. We believe that Californians deserve a comprehensive, community-based behavioral health system that is adequately funded. We value outcome based, data driven, culturally responsive and linguistically appropriate approaches to service provision. We work strategically and collaboratively to pursue public policy initiatives that create system change for diverse communities across our state. We support the integration of behavioral health, physical health, housing, education and vocational rehabilitation services for children, youth, adults, and older adults.
